How big a file can I open?
FileMira works in your browser, so the cap is what your browser can safely hold. It varies by format — these are the six most common. Pro raises every one of them on a desktop browser; on a phone or tablet the Free column applies to every plan, because there the constraint is the device rather than the subscription.

XLSX and DOCX are compressed packages and are checked a second time after unpacking, against 10.0 MB on Free and 500.0 MB on Pro — which is why their file-on-disk cap is the lowest of the set.
Size is not the only condition. Office files are also limited by structure — 100 worksheets per workbook, 200,000 rows per worksheet, 2,000,000 cells per workbook, 100,000 paragraphs per document, 500 embedded images on Pro — so a densely packed workbook can sit under the size cap and still be refused. All 14 formats, with every limit.
